LIFELONG LEARNING
“For this instruction which I enjoin upon you this day, is not too baffling for you, nor is it beyond reach. It is not in the heavens, that you should say, ‘Who shall go up for us to the heavens and bring it to us, that we may understand it?’ … No, the Torah is very close to you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you learn from it and live by it.” – Devarim Chapter 30
Lifelong Jewish Learning is a priority for our congregation and our Reform Movement. We understand it to be part of the lifelong pursuit of Jewish literacy and intellectual growth that our tradition commands of us.
Based in our Goldberg Judaic Study Center (GJSC), and embracing all facets of our Temple community, our lifelong learning program reflects our commitment to this strongly held value and is the source of a renaissance of learning throughout our Temple Family. We offer many programs including Scholars in Residence, speakers, regular Torah study and a variety of mini-sessions throughout the year.
